Role Description

This is a remote, contract role for an ECommerce Sales Manager at Loft Web. The ECommerce Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new eCommerce clients, managing inbound and outbound sales pipelines, and presenting tailored service proposals that align with client needs and Loft Web’s offerings. Day-to-day tasks include conducting discovery calls, preparing estimates and contracts, coordinating with the design and development teams to scope projects, and maintaining accurate records in CRM tools. The role involves nurturing long-term client relationships, tracking sales performance against targets, and providing feedback on market trends to help refine service packages and pricing models. The ECommerce Sales Manager will collaborate closely with leadership to support revenue growth and ensure a smooth, transparent sales experience for clients.

  • Strong eCommerce and sales skills, including experience selling website development, branding, or digital services.
  • Knowledge of eCommerce platforms such as Shopify and Wix, and familiarity with online payment integrations and subscription models.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts (e.g., interactive web features, front-end capabilities) to non-technical clients.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools, sales tracking, and pipeline management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Experience conducting market and trend research for eCommerce products or digital services.
  • High level of organization, attention to detail, and comfort working independently in a remote environment.
  • Prior experience in digital agencies, eCommerce consulting, or SaaS sales is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
