Ecommerce Specialist

We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established international business looking for an Ecommerce Specialist to join their growing digital team based in Exeter. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in developing and enhancing a global ecommerce platform, working closely with teams across IT, UX, Product and Marketing to deliver an outstanding online experience.
The Role
As an Ecommerce Specialist, you'll support the ongoing development, optimisation and performance of a busy ecommerce platform used by customers across multiple international markets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the development, testing and rollout of new website features and functionality
- Troubleshooting website, data and platform issues, working closely with internal stakeholders to resolve them
- Helping optimise the customer journey and improve onsite conversion and user experience
- Configuring website content, promotions and marketing campaigns
- Analysing website performance and customer behaviour using analytics tools to identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams including IT, UX, Product and Marketing on a range of digital projects
- Supporting the delivery of ecommerce initiatives across multiple international markets

About You
We're looking for someone who is passionate about ecommerce and enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Previous experience in an ecommerce or digital trading environment
- Experience working with an ecommerce platform (Magento experience would be an advantage)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience using website analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics
- A good understanding of website functionality, customer journeys and ecommerce best practice
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across multiple teams
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS or CMS platforms would be beneficial but isn't essential.
