About us
With 50 years of fire safety experience, we serve fire door installers and firestopping contractors across the UK through our vast portfolio of passive fire protection products from well-known and trusted brands.
The Role
We are looking for a proactive and collaborative E-commerce/UX Specialist to drive online sales growth, enhance the customer experience, and uphold a strong brand presence across digital platforms.
This role will focus on optimising website performance, managing product onboarding and online merchandising, and ensuring a seamless customer experience through data-driven insights.
You will be responsible for overseeing web agency relationships, testing and implementing UX best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and drive website performance with a keen attention to detail.
What You’ll Do
Growth & Customer Experience
- Own and optimise the end-to-end online customer journey to drive conversion, revenue, and retention
- Use analytics (GA4) to generate actionable insights for UX improvements, product launches, and category growth
- Optimise site content for SEO, usability, and conversion best practice
- Lead on-site merchandising to increase engagement, AOV, and conversion
- Execute cross-channel marketing campaigns to drive engagement and revenue
- Streamline processes to improve efficiency and deliver a consistent brand experience

Website Performance & Trading
- Own day-to-day website performance, including reporting and identifying growth opportunities
- Manage product launches end-to-end, from onboarding to go-live
- Ensure all on-site product content is accurate, compelling, and up to date
- Act as the main point of contact for developers, prioritising and delivering a fast-moving roadmap
- Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and resolve site or customer experience issues
What we’re looking for
Skills / Attributes
- Able to work independently and manage own workload according to business objectives and timeframes
- Proactively identify areas for improvement on the website through the analysis of user journeys and reporting
- Team work: able to collaborate with a range of departments including Product, Supply Chain, Customer Service and Warehouse to optimise the customer experience end-to-end
- Project management – ensure projects are executed on time and within budget, keeping internal and external team members accountable
- Attention to detail – ensure a strong and cohesive brand image is upheld across all website assets and content
- Understanding of data management and GDPR

Education/Experience
- Experience of e-commerce website platforms is essential, WooCommerce or Shopify specifically would be desirable
- Experience of Google Analytics is essential
- Experience of working with and managing web agencies is essential
- Strong working knowledge of SEO is essential
- Experience with website migration and re-platforming desirable
