The Role

As an eCommerce Marketing Manager on a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover contract, you will be at the forefront of fuelling our UK growth within the eCommerce team.

Working within the UK Trading team, you will make a pivotal difference by optimising online product sales on next.co.uk across Womenswear, Menswear, Childrenswear, and Home. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to create marketing plans that deliver a truly inspirational customer experience while utilising commercial insights to drive year-on-year growth. Operating from our Leicestershire Head Office, you will be supported by brand marketing, design, and content teams to bring a creative edge to our online trading.

What You'll Take On

  • Develop and execute weekly next.co.uk homepage refreshes and drive our Next Onsite Advertising (NextAds) strategy forward.
  • Optimise the homepage to drive customer engagement and revenue while maintaining brand integrity alongside brand marketing, design, and content teams.
  • Monitor sales, bestsellers, and key online metrics to react to performance trends, adapting marketing plans and presenting results to senior stakeholders with actionable competitor analysis.
  • Manage the end-to-end delivery of NextAds onsite marketing placements, from creative refresh rotations to building ads within our CMS, leveraging offshore teams to scale efficiency.
  • Project manage the NextAds team workload, driving critical paths through to completion.
  • Work closely with brand marketing to understand all available creative assets and recommend images week to week.
  • Attend relevant internal and external meetings while maintaining accurate administration of key business documents.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
