Do you want to help shape the future of tax e-compliance and digitisation at Amazon? We seek a Tax Manager to join the eCompliance Hub within Tax's International Stores organisation. The role is focused on providing primary VAT/Indirect Tax support on Procure-to-Pay (P2P) programs to meet real-time electronic invoicing (e-invoicing) and digital tax reporting requirements. There may be future opportunities to provide VAT/Indirect Tax support on other core business processes and programs.

The Tax Manager will work collaboratively across technology, finance, operations and business teams to develop effective P2P tax processes and controls to ensure it meets the needs of tax digitisation.

You will participate in various cross-functional projects/programs to provide tax considerations and requirements and should be able to communicate complex tax concepts in ways that are meaningful and useful to non-tax professionals.

Key job responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with stakeholders (including technology teams) to develop robust tax P2P processes;
  • Analyse application of VAT/GST legislation on P2P technologies and business operations, providing pragmatic guidance for implementation;
  • Partner closely with Tax Planning and Tax Compliance Leads, responsible for countries/regions, to ensure ongoing P2P compliance;
  • Responsibility for the design, execution and sign-off on tax test cases during both UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and production verification;
  • Responsibility for the design, implementation and maintenance of tax controls and processes to ensure ongoing management of P2P tax risks.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
