Our UK Land, Development & Planning team is growing, and we're looking for talented Economic Development professionals to join our nationally recognised Economic Development & Appraisal (EDA) team.

This is an opportunity to work on some of the UK's most significant regeneration, infrastructure and investment programmes, helping shape the future of towns, cities and communities.

About The Team

Our Economic Development & Appraisal team specialises in promoting sustainable economic growth through expert advice on land, property and infrastructure. We combine deep real estate expertise with economic development, appraisal and place-based strategy to help clients make informed investment decisions.

We are recognised market leaders in the preparation of HM Treasury Green Book business cases and provide strategic advice to public and private sector clients across the UK.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Consultant, Senior Consultant or Associate to support the continued growth of our Economic Development business.

You'll work alongside experienced specialists on high-profile projects while helping to grow our client relationships and market presence.

We're open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds. Consultancy experience is desirable, but we're equally interested in individuals with strong economic development experience gained in the public or private sector.

This is a national opportunity, with flexibility around office location and hybrid working.

What We're Looking For

  • A genuine passion for economic development, regeneration and placemaking
  • A degree or professional background in economics, economic development or a related discipline
  • Experience preparing business cases, economic appraisals or cost-benefit analysis
  • Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Commercial awareness and a collaborative approach

Experience within the property sector is advantageous but not essential, and RICS qualification is not required.
