Payout: $80 - $90/hour
Role Overview
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an Economics Expert (PhD) to provide high-level economic analysis and strategic insights for a project-based assignment. The role requires deep expertise in economic modeling, data interpretation, and policy evaluation to support decision-making. Candidates must have a PhD in Economics or a closely related field with a proven track record of applied research.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine economic models to forecast market trends and assess policy impacts.
- Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights for business or policy decisions.
- Design and conduct empirical studies using econometric methods and statistical techniques.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate economic findings into strategic recommendations.
- Present findings in clear, concise reports and presentations to stakeholders.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- PhD in Economics or a related discipline with a focus on applied research.
- Proficiency in econometric software such as Stata, R, or Python (NumPy, Pandas, StatsModels).
- Strong quantitative analysis skills with experience in statistical modeling and hypothesis testing.
- Expertise in time-series analysis, regression modeling, and causal inference methods.
- Ability to interpret complex economic data and communicate insights to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with policy evaluation, cost-benefit analysis, or market research is preferred.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Matplotlib.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
