Economics Teacher – Permanent (September 2026)
Location: Haringey
A university-focused sixth form in Haringey is seeking an inspiring and insightful Economics Teacher to join their outstanding faculty from September 2026. This is a permanent role within a sixth form rated Outstanding by Ofsted, renowned for its exceptional A-Level results and track record of students progressing to Economics, Finance, and Politics degrees at top Russell Group and Oxbridge universities.

The Role
As an Economics Teacher, you will:

What the School is Looking For
We’re seeking candidates who:
- Hold British QTS (qualified teacher status)
- Have a 2:1 or higher degree in Economics from a reputable UK university (Russell Group or Oxbridge preferred)
- Bring A-Level Economics teaching experience, ideally in a UK school or sixth form
- Demonstrate remarkable student outcomes and a fierce passion for the subject
- Are eligible to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)

Requirements:
- ✅ 2:1+ Economics degree (Russell Group/Oxbridge preferred)
- ✅ QTS status
- ✅ Direct teaching experience in A-Level Economics

- ✅ Flexibility & adaptability to support university-bound learners
Salary & Contract
Inner London Main Pay Scale (MPS):
- £40,317 to £52,300 per annum
- Upper Pay Scale (UPS) available up to £62,496
- TLR (Teaching and Learning Responsibilities) opportunities for candidates with leadership experience
