Are you a newly qualified teacher or due to achieve Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) soon? Looking to build your confidence, gain valuable classroom experience, and explore a variety of school environments?
Academics are currently recruiting enthusiastic and motivated Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to work across our network of partner schools throughout Ilkley and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for aspiring educators to develop their teaching skills while gaining exposure to a range of classroom settings, age groups, and school environments. There is also a great opportunity to work within a variety of partner schools before the end of this academic year, helping you build valuable experience and establish strong relationships ahead of September opportunities.

The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have recently achieved QTS or be due to qualify shortly
- Be passionate about education and supporting young people
- Have strong communication and classroom management skills
- Be adaptable, enthusiastic, and eager to learn
- Be committed to developing their confidence and teaching practice
