Join the Emergency Department Team as a Reception Clerk
An exciting opportunity has arisen at Harrogate District Foundation Trust to join the Emergency Department team as a Reception Clerk.
If you have fantastic communication skills and are confident working on a computer and want to make a difference, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
The post holder will be required to provide a professional, efficient, and comprehensive reception service within the department’s reception desk, fulfilling all necessary reception, clerical, administrative, and general tasks required to facilitate and record patient treatment using paper-based health records and information technology systems.
- Be familiar with, and work to, the protocols and policies of the Emergency Department and Trust policies.
- Closely liaise with other disciplines while remaining courteous to provide reliable and quality service to patients, relatives, and carers, healthcare professionals, internal departments, and outside organizations.
- Be aware of the Health and Safety aspects of staff and patients and promote a safe environment to work in.
- Commit to further training as required by the role and, when competent to, assist in the training of others.
