EDI Integration Specialist
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an EDI Integration Specialist based in United Kingdom.
This role focuses on building and maintaining a robust end-to-end EDI integration ecosystem that supports high-volume supply chain and logistics operations in a fast-moving consumer environment. You will take ownership of trading partner onboarding, ensuring seamless data exchange across multiple systems and platforms. The position combines hands-on engineering with deep operational responsibility, requiring strong technical execution and troubleshooting skills. You will work cross-functionally with IT, operations, and external partners to improve automation, reliability, and scalability. This is a highly autonomous role suited for someone who thrives in execution-heavy environments. You will contribute directly to optimizing data flows that support order management, fulfillment, and distribution. The environment is dynamic, innovation-driven, and influenced by modern digital commerce at scale, backed by a highly visible creator-led brand ecosystem associated with MrBeast.
Accountabilities
- Lead full-cycle EDI trading partner onboarding, implementation, and testing across multiple document types including 850, 855, 856, 810, 940, and 945.
- Design, build, and maintain EDI mappings using ANSI X12 and XML standards to ensure compliance, accuracy, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and support daily EDI production systems to ensure reliable data flow, uptime, and issue resolution.
- Develop and maintain integrations using scripting and programming tools such as C#,.NET, PowerShell, or similar technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues across EDI pipelines, data exchanges, and backend systems.
- Improve automation and scalability by identifying process gaps and implementing system enhancements.
- Maintain clear technical documentation for mappings, configurations, and integration workflows.

Requirements
- 4-7+ years of hands-on experience in EDI development, integration, and mapping (ANSI X12 required; EDIFACT is a plus).
- Strong experience with MSSQL, T-SQL, and SSIS for data processing and transformation.
- Solid understanding of secure data exchange protocols such as AS2, SFTP, FTP, and VAN networks.
- Experience using EDI mapping tools (e.g., MapForce) and ETL tools for integration workflows.
- Familiarity with ERP system integrations and supply chain or logistics environments.
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
- Exposure to modern integration patterns such as APIs and event-driven architectures.
- Programming experience in C#, Python, or similar languages for automation tasks.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for business and technical stakeholders.
- Background in manufacturing, logistics, transportation, or supply chain domains preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
