Overview
The Consultant role is a technically driven, hands-on position responsible for executing and coordinating complex eDiscovery tasks across multiple concurrent matters. Reporting to Senior Consultants and Directors, Consultants lead key aspects of project delivery across the full EDRM, ensuring accuracy, defensibility, and client satisfaction.
Consultants play a hands-on role in delivering eDiscovery projects, working closely with legal teams, IT, and internal stakeholders to implement tailored workflows, manage disclosure and production, and resolve technical challenges. They handle complex data types and design transformation workflows to support custom formats and advanced analytics.
As trusted client contacts, Consultants translate technical processes into clear guidance, contribute to innovation through emerging technologies like AI and TAR, and support cross-functional collaboration. They also mentor junior team members and help maintain quality, transparency, and momentum across the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Consultancy and Management of Projects
- Lead and support multiple eDiscovery matters, ensuring smooth execution and client satisfaction in collaboration with senior team members.
- Assist with data ingestion and processing workflows, ensuring accurate handling of structured and unstructured data across various platforms and formats.
- Manage client requests and communications proactively, maintaining visibility of availability and capacity to support team coordination.
- Help prepare clear, client-facing documentation (e.g., fact sheets, workflows, platform guides) to enhance transparency and understanding.
- Configure review platforms, manage user access, and support workspace setup to ensure readiness and usability.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, escalate appropriately, and document resolutions to support continuous improvement.
- Manage disclosure and production workflows across varied matter types including DSARs, Public Inquiries, and Investigations, ensuring accurate, defensible, and timely delivery aligned with case requirements.
- Serve as a responsive, solution-oriented client contact, translating technical processes into actionable guidance.
- Provide technical consultative input on workflows, analytics, and deliverables, aligning recommendations with client goals.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including schedules, dependencies, and resource plans, to ensure accountability.
- Support quality assurance by upholding standards and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Act as a subject matter resource on Consilio’s platforms and technologies, enabling effective tool usage.
- Manage concurrent projects with a focus on timelines, deliverables, and client priorities.
- Build trusted client relationships through proactive engagement and consistent high-quality service.
- Ensure secure handling of digital evidence, maintaining chain of custody and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Keep senior team informed of key developments, risks, and milestones to support alignment and decision-making.
- Contribute to innovation by sharing feedback, piloting new tools, and supporting adoption of advanced technologies (e.g., TAR, CAL, AI-driven analytics).
- Handle and advise on complex data types, including Message Data, by designing and executing tailored transformation workflows to support custom production formats.

- Cultivate collaboration across teams through open communication, mutual respect, and shared accountability.

Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or minimum 3 years in the litigation support / legal industry;
- 3 years’ experience using the Relativity or other eDiscovery Review platform;
- Willingness to travel;
- Demonstrated experience managing multiple, concurrent projects involving cross-functional teams within budgetary and schedule constraints;
- Demonstrated experience coordinating project work and resources with global resources;
- Demonstrated ability to manage client expectations and maintain client satisfaction;
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to anticipate client needs;
- The ability to confront unexpected problems quickly and effectively;
- Strong teamwork, communication (written and oral), client management, and interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrated ability to manage project teams, including teams of supporting project managers.
