APT Search is representing an international legal services firm with an established eDiscovery team, hiring an eDiscovery Consultant in Manchester. The team runs on Relativity across contentious and regulatory matters, and has a genuine track record of developing people rather than just staffing projects. This suits someone with 3-6 years in eDiscovery who wants a serious training, culture and progression pathways without moving to London.

Responsibilities of this eDiscovery Consultant:

  • Own end-to-end delivery on active matters, from data collection management and processing through to review and production.
  • Manage Relativity workspaces, including workspace setup, searching, layouts, fields and views.
  • Advise legal teams on workflow design, search strategy and defensible process.
  • Run productions to specification and quality-check output before release.
  • Support and troubleshoot document review teams, including review platform training where required.
  • Communicate directly with case teams and clients on scope, timelines and risk.
  • Contribute to internal process improvement and mentor more junior team members as you progress.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
