# About The Role
Practice Support Analyst
The Practice Support Analyst is an integral part of Latham’s Practice Support Services team. This role will provide a high level of support in litigation and transactional matters, collaborating with the Practice Support Services (PSS) team within the Technology department. Responsibilities include assisting attorneys, paralegals, and staff with hardcopy and electronic discovery projects, as well as coordinating tasks such as:
- Collections
- Productions
- Depositions
- Trial presentations
The role offers the possibility to work in either our London or Manchester office, including potential eligibility for a flexible working schedule, combining hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison and primary point of contact between the Practice Support Center team and the Practice Technology Consulting team to:
- Promote effective communication
- Design efficient workflows
- Ensure projects meet specifications and standards
- Collaborate directly with the Forensic Analyst and/or vendors to:
- Ensure client or firm data collection follows best practices
- Provide guidance on exceptions and non-standard file types
- Maintain a deep understanding of and adherence to:
- Protocols and best practices in electronic stored information (ESI) processing
- Technology Assisted Review (TAR)
- Production processes
- Act as an escalation point for the Practice Support Center team regarding data processing, ensuring all jobs align with standard procedures
- Deliver training and support to:
- Attorneys, paralegals, and staff
- Clients and external users
- On document review databases and firm’s practice support software/tools (e.g. RelativityOne, Nuix, Opus2, Everchron)
- Support the design, implementation, and evaluation of ongoing PSS training programs
- Develop and maintain quality control processes to ensure:
- Delivery of high-quality work products
- Identification of areas needing escalation or new procedures

Qualifications
Required:
- Strong understanding of electronic discovery (e-discovery)
- Knowledge of the e-discovery reference model (EDRM)
- Proficiency with Relativity
- Strong project management and consulting skills
- Emphasis on supporting teams of attorneys and support staff
- Technical experience, preferably in a Legal environment or with a vendor specialising in legal technology processing services
