About The Role
The Practice Support Analyst is an essential part of Latham’s Practice Support Services team.
This role will provide a high-level support in the areas of litigation and transactional matters, led by the Practice Support Services (PSS) team within the Technology department. Key tasks include supporting attorneys, paralegals, and staff with:
- Hardcopy and electronic discovery projects
- Litigation services, including:
- Coordinating collections and productions
- Managing depositions
- Preparing trial presentations
The role is located in our London or Manchester office and may include a flexible working schedule, allowing both in-office and hybrid presence.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison and primary point of contact between the Practice Support Centre team and the Practice Technology Consulting team, ensuring:
- Efficient communication
- Streamlined workflows
- Project completion as per specifications and standards
- Work directly with Forensic Analysts and vendors to ensure client/firm data is collected in a manner suitable for processing, providing guidance for exceptions or unusual file types
- Stay current with and apply best practices in ESI processing, TAR (Technology-Assisted Review), and litigation production standards
- Function as the escalation point for others in the Practice Support Centre for:
- ESI processing
- Aligning with Latham’s processing job procedures
- Lead training and support for:
- Attorneys, paralegals, staff, clients, and external users on document review databases
- Firm’s Practice Support Software (e.g. RelativityOne, Nuix, Opus2, Everchron)
- Guide the development, implementation, and assessment of PSS training programs
- Establish quality control processes to:
- Deliver high-quality work product
- Identify escalation needs and improve existing procedures
Requirements & Experience

Strong understanding of eDiscovery and the eDiscovery Reference Model (EDRM)

Proficiency in Relativity (technical experience preferred)

Project management and consulting skills, focusing on direct support for teams of attorneys/support staff

Technical experience, preferably in:
- Legal industry or at a legal tech vendor providing support services

Educational requirements:
- An associate’s degree or equivalent minimum qualification
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Relevant experience considered in lieu of degree
