We're preparing to launch an exciting new consumer brand and are looking for an ambitious, creative and audience-first Editor to lead its editorial vision from day one.
This is a unique opportunity to shape the voice, identity and content strategy of a brand at launch. Working alongside a highly entrepreneurial team, you'll create compelling content that informs, entertains and inspires, building a loyal audience across digital, social, video, newsletters, events and emerging platforms.
We're looking for someone with exceptional editorial instincts, a deep understanding of consumer audiences and a passion for creating content that people actively seek out and share. If you're excited by the challenge of building something new, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role
As Editor, you'll define and lead the editorial strategy, ensuring every piece of content reflects the brand's vision while driving audience growth and engagement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Defining and delivering the editorial vision, tone of voice and content strategy across all platforms.
- Planning, commissioning, writing and editing high-quality content across digital, social media, newsletters, video and live experiences.
- Identifying emerging trends, cultural moments and stories that resonate with consumer audiences.
- Building and executing a content calendar that balances news, features, interviews, opinion, video and social-first storytelling.
- Conducting interviews with influential personalities, industry leaders and key voices relevant to the brand.
- Using audience insights, analytics and SEO to continually refine content performance and grow readership.
- Collaborating with commercial, marketing and creative teams to develop innovative campaigns while maintaining editorial integrity.
- Helping shape the brand's presence across social media and identifying new opportunities to engage audiences.
- Representing the brand at events, launches, industry gatherings and media opportunities.
- Contributing ideas that support the continued growth and evolution of the brand.

The Opportunity
This is more than an Editor role—it's an opportunity to build a consumer media brand from the ground up.
You'll have the freedom to establish the editorial direction, influence the brand's identity and play a central role in its long-term success. Working within a collaborative and ambitious team, you'll help create content that builds community, drives conversation and becomes a trusted destination for consumers.
The Candidate

We're looking for a creative storyteller with outstanding editorial judgement, strong leadership skills and a genuine understanding of what captures the attention of modern audiences.
You'll be equally comfortable developing long-form features, overseeing breaking news, shaping social content and spotting the next big story before everyone else.
You'll also have:
- Significant editorial experience, ideally in a senior editorial or Editor role.
- Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills across multiple platforms.
- A strong understanding of digital publishing, SEO, audience analytics and social media.
- Experience developing content strategies that drive audience growth and engagement.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Confidence interviewing high-profile individuals and representing the brand publicly.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to inspire and lead creative teams.
- A passion for innovation and experimenting with new content formats and platforms.
Experience in consumer media, lifestyle, luxury or premium publishing would be advantageous, but we're ultimately looking for someone with vision and the ambition to build an exciting new brand from the very beginning.
