Editorial & Content Executive
Atg Entertainment are seeking an Editorial & Content Executive
To support the editorial vision of our new theatre content platform, reporting to the Editorial & Content Lead and working within a commercial environment. This role focuses on creating, editing, publishing, and optimising content across digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Editing
- Writing and editing news articles, interviews, explainers, listings, and features in line with editorial direction.
- Ensuring content aligns with tone-of-voice guidelines set by the Editorial & Content Lead.
Multi-Format Content Delivery
- Supporting the production and publishing of content across web, social media, newsletters, and video.
- Adapting editorial stories into platform-specific formats, including social video and short-form copy.
- Assisting with basic video editing, captioning, and formatting for digital platforms.
Publishing & Digital Optimisation
- Uploading, formatting, and publishing content using the CMS, including headlines, metadata, tagging, and imagery.
- Applying SEO, search intent, and discoverability best practice to all published content.
- Supporting rapid turnaround of content around breaking news, press nights, and industry announcements.
Editorial Planning & Support
- Supporting the delivery of the editorial calendar, responding to priorities set by the Editorial & Content Lead.
- Tracking upcoming West End openings, cast announcements, awards, and cultural moments.
- Contributing ideas for content opportunities and format innovation.
Industry & Stakeholder Liaison
- Liaising with PRs, producers, venues, and talent teams for interviews and access.
- Attending performances, press events, and launches as required.
- Supporting interview scheduling, press requests, and content logistics.

Performance & Insight
- Monitoring content performance using analytics tools.
- Sharing insights and learnings with the Editorial & Content Lead to inform future content decisions.
Essential Requirements
Your skills, qualities, and experience should include:
- Experience in a content, editorial, or digital media role, ideally within entertainment, culture, or lifestyle media.
- Experience working in a digital-first publishing environment.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Understanding of digital content formats, SEO, and platform best practices.
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (preferably WordPress) and social publishing workflows.
- Ability to work at speed while maintaining editorial quality.
- Ability to manage multiple workstreams and prioritise work in line with team objectives.
- Portfolio or links to published/produced content demonstrating editorial judgement and digital capability.
- Strong interest in theatre, live entertainment, and performance culture.
- Enthusiasm for digital storytelling and audience growth.
DesirableRequirements
- Experience working with video or multimedia content.
- Familiarity with analytics tools, such as GA4 or Search Console.
- Knowledge of the theatre industry and West End landscape.
