Permanent Post
Location: Rooftop ELC Hours: 14.8 hours per week (not term time, 52 weeks per year) Work Pattern: Thursday and Friday, shifts between 8 am – 6 pm Hourly Rate: £20.66 – £21.25 per hour
Job Responsibilities
When applying, address the following:

- Describe recommended management actions or approaches to resolve a performance issue within a team.
- Detail strategies you would use to support a child with distressed behaviours.
- Explain your knowledge of the early years curriculum and how you would support a team in planning for young children.
About the Role
Education Resources (part of South Lanarkshire Council) is seeking a Team Leader for Early Year Teams.
This role involves an innovative educator leading and developing the early years service. You will:
- Collaborate with teams to nurture children and provide stimulating learning opportunities.
- Support, lead, and motivate staff to deliver a high-quality, child-centred early years provision.
- Ensure the service meets the needs of children and their families.
- Maintain a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Requirements & Qualifications
Must hold one of the following qualifications:
- SVQ3 Level 3 Childcare & Education
- SVQ Level 3 Children’s Care in education and Learning
- HNC Childcare in Education
- NNEB
You must also meet registration requirements for a Practitioner with SSSC and currently be registered.
