For over 20 years, the Company has delivered fresh food solutions to pupils and staff at Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Colleges across the UK. The company caters more than 1,000,000 meals a week. Our “Fresh Food Policy” is the foundation of our success and growth in the market coupled with a desire to truly deliver on the promises we make to our clients and support our site-based teams. Job Description We are looking for an experienced Area Support Manager to manage a group of schools in Essex. The portfolio consists of four primary schools and two secondary schools all within the same education trust. Previous catering and operational management experience is essential. This is a term-time only role with an additional two weeks to cover events, mobilisations and training days. Our Area Support Managers are an essential part of our business. You will oversee and support, taking a key role in driving standards of excellence and building strong relationships with teams and clients with enthusiasm and leading by example. This will include delivering annual ESB compliance & auditing in schools, ensuring that the company’s reputation for food quality and service is enhanced and administering unit controls and keep company records across all sites within your remit. In addition to this, you will need to be prepared to roll your sleeves up and help the teams when you need to.
