We’re seeking an inspiring and proactive Supervisor to support the day-to-all running of a thriving education centre. You’ll work closely with the Centre Manager to lead a team of Tutors, grow your centre through new member acquisition, and deliver an exceptional service for families.

The Role
You’ll impact all aspects of centre performance, including:
- Driving membership growth through community engagement, local partnerships, and marketing events
- Maximising profitability via debt and revenue management, and optimising staff efficiency
- Delivering excellent experiences for families and members—from their first enquiry to long-term progress
- Managing day-to-day operations to ensure the centre runs smoothly and efficiently
- Leading, coaching, and developing your Tutor team to provide outstanding learning experiences
- Championing safeguarding, prioritising the safety and wellbeing of every child in your care
A Day in the Life
Your role balances educational leadership with operational excellence:
- Role-model excellent tutoring and coach your team to help members achieve real progress in maths and English, fostering a love of learning
- Monitor and celebrate member progress, holding meaningful conversations with families about achievements and next steps
- Build your centre’s reputation through local brand presence, community engagement, and sales activation
- Host trial sessions, manage enquiries, and oversee the new member experience to ensure every family feels welcome and supported

Logistics
Location: Full-time at one of our Explore Learning centres in Essex, including Southend, Romford, Colchester, or Chelmsford.
Starting Salary: £27,000 per annum (dependent on experience). *Additional £1,000–£3,500 uplift for those based at London centres (London weighting).
Contract: Permanent, full-time.
Typical Weekly Hours:
- Tuesday: 11am–8pm
- Wednesday: 11am–8pm
- Thursday: 11am–7pm
- Friday: 9am–6pm
- Saturday: 9am–5pm (Hours may vary by centre.)
Note: Positions are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Safeguarding Commitment: Proof of UK work eligibility is mandatory. We cannot sponsor visas.
Safeguarding is paramount. Rigorous safer recruitment processes ensure protection for children and young people. Any job offer is contingent on:
