Education Mental Health Practitioner/ Child Wellbeing Practitioner

Exciting Opportunity for Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHP) or Child Wellbeing Practitioners (CWP)

We’re seeking qualified Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHP) or Child Wellbeing Practitioners (CWP) to join our Aldershot Mental Health Support Team (MHST). This is a chance to contribute to the NHS Long Term Plan’s vision of integrated mental health support in schools.

Note: Only applicants holding a diploma in Children’s Wellbeing Practice or Education Mental Health Practice and registered (or eligible to register) with BABCP will be shortlisted.

About the Role

Each MHST is based in a cluster of schools within Surrey’s 11 boroughs (Epsom, Spelthorne, Reigate & Banstead, Elmbridge, Surrey Heath, Woking, Runnymede, Guildford, Waverley, Tandridge and Mole Valley) and North East Hampshire (Aldershot & Rushmoor).

As a member of this team, you’ll deliver brief, evidence-based CBT interventions tailored to children and young people facing mental health challenges. You’ll work both in schools and community locations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
