Education Recruitment Consultant

**🌟 **Zen Educate – Account Growth Manager (Hertfordshire Region)

Location: London (Oval) – 3–4 days/week hybrid
Salary: £35,000–£44,000 OTE
Type: Full-time

About the Role

🗣️ "Hi, I’m Bill, Head of Account Management for London at Zen Educate, and we’re looking for recruitment consultants who want to solve a crucial problem—helping schools hire teachers efficiently, saving millions wasted on outdated agencies."

Are you passionate about building relationships, solving meaningful challenges, and driving real-world change? Join a mission-driven startup as an Account Growth Manager to transform how schools hire—and where their money lands.

Why Zen Educate?

🏫 The Challenge:

  • UK schools spend £2B+ annually on temporary staff.
  • £600M of that goes to recruitment agencies—instead of classrooms or teachers’ salaries.
  • Zen Educate is changing this: a vetted online teacher/mission platform active since 2017, saving schools £30M+.
  • Just raised €37M in Series B (Europe’s largest EdTech round last year!)—the time is now to grow with us.

🚀 Why It Matters: Impact. Growth. Together. You won’t just manage accounts—you’ll enable better hiring, faster, while saving schools thousands per term.

What You’ll Do

This isn’t a "send emails" job—it’s owning relationships, solving for schools, and scaling impact. A typical week might involve:

✔ Strategic Grooming:

  • Guide Headteachers through recruitment shifts (e.g., saving £10K/term by switching to Zen).
  • Source hyper-targeted teachers for specific needs.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
