Job Description: Education Consultant
Location: Stratford and Woolwich, London
Role Type: Full-time, Permanent
Role Summary
As an Education Consultant at SCCD Training, you will play a critical role in shaping the careers of aspiring educators and supporting schools in their recruitment needs. You will work closely with trainees, schools, and external partners to provide expert advice, career guidance, and bespoke training solutions that align with educational standards and workforce demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct one-on-one consultations with teacher trainees to assess their skills, aspirations, and development needs.
- Develop tailored career and training plans to enhance employability and teaching effectiveness.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with schools and educational authorities to understand recruitment trends and skills gaps.
- Drive Enrollments: Proactively reach out to leads and convert inquiries into registrations.
- Consultative Selling: Understand the unique career aspirations of each applicant and recommend the most suitable SCCD training programs.
- Market Outreach: Identify new business opportunities within the education sector.
- Relationship Management: Maintain a strong pipeline and follow up diligently with prospective learners.
- Hit Targets: Meet and exceed weekly and monthly KPIs to maximize your commission earnings.

Requirements
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience in education or teacher training consultancy, ideally within the UK education sector.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to inspire and motivate trainees.
- High-Volume Activity: Proven ability to maintain high daily outreach and activity levels, consistently hitting a target of 10+ booked appointments/consultations per day.
- Consultative Selling: Experience conducting independent, high-value consultations with prospective learners, guiding them from initial inquiry to enrollment.
- Revenue Generation: A strong track record of hitting monthly registration targets and driving revenue (with the demonstrated capability to manage and scale a desk toward £10k–£20k+ in monthly sales).
- Lead Conversion: Ability to manage lead pipelines effectively, converting inquiries into active course registrations while maintaining a high average deal size.
