Purpose of the Role
Position: Education & Wellbeing Practitioner Core Responsibilities: To design, deliver, and evaluate dynamic, engaging education and wellbeing interventions across:
- Sexual health
- Reproductive health
- Relationships
- Wellbeing
Key Tasks:
- Face-to-face and digital delivery of sessions (small groups, 1:1 programmes, public workshops)
- Frequent local and regional travel to schools, community venues, and client locations
- Collaborating with professionals, partners, and stakeholders to expand reach and impact
- Conducting needs assessments, program evaluations, and evidence-based interventions
- Support vulnerable or underserved groups, including young people and adults at risk of exclusion

Eligibility: Open to professionals with a passion for inclusive, transformative practice—no prior Brook experience required.
Essential Criteria
Qualification & Experience
- GCSE level (minimum 5 passes) or recognised equivalent
- Demonstrable experience working with:
- Young people
- Adults
- Vulnerable/underrepresented groups (e.g., refugee organisations, faith groups, LGBTQ+ communities, groups with histories of trauma)
- Understanding of structural inequalities affecting sexual health access
Soft Skills & Fundamental Competencies
- Proactive engagement: Ability to inspire trust with diverse audiences (young people, adults, professionals) while upheringen staff
- Equality & inclusion: Proficiency in applying principles of equality, diversity, and human rights in practice
- Networking: Build sustainable partnerships with schools, GPs, hospices, youth clubs, and other support services
- Communication & digital literacy: Comfortable navigating:
- IT systems (databases, admin tools)
- Social media and digital education tools
- Safeguarding protocols
About the Role
Hours: Part-time (22.5 hours/week) ➡️ Upon probation completion, transition to a 4-day workweek (retaining full pay).
Contract:
- Fixed-term (until 31/03/2028)
- Paid holiday year-round (note: flexible accrual schemes may apply)

Work Location: Based in High Wycombe Office, with Buckinghamshire-wide travel for sessions.
Salary: £26,227.50 per annum (pro rata for 22.5 hours/week).
