About EdPsychs

EdPsychs have been successfully providing psychological support to schools since 2009. We have a team of:

  • Educational Psychologists (EPs)
  • Clinical Psychologists
  • Counselling Psychologists
  • Psychiatrists
  • Assistant Psychologists (APs)
  • Educational professionals (including head teachers and SENCos)

Our work spans schools in London and Birmingham, covering:

  • Whole school and community engagement
  • Student, teacher, parent, and leadership team support

Key Projects

  • Setting up whole school values and house systems in state schools
  • Establishing Alternative Provisions in London and Birmingham
  • Supporting SEMH schools to develop seven curriculum pathways
  • Running whole school wellbeing programmes (staff, students, parents, and SLT)
  • Providing placements for trainee psychologists with professional supervision
  • Enhancing school places, u incling uptake and student retention (financial development & fundraising)
  • Conducting in-school research projects

Role Requirements

Core expectations:

  • Ability to empower schools through systemic, strategic work.
  • Collaboration with our multi-professional psychology service.
  • Values-driven, ethical, and psychological approach to contribute to team empowerment.
  • Competence in training, assessments (qualitative/quantitative), evidence-based consultations and supervision.
  • Supervision of Assistant Psychologists (APs) and alignment with the team culture.

Essential Criteria

  • HCPC-registered Practitioner Psychologist
  • Experience working in a under our care model
  • Commitment to value-driven systemic work within ** schools and communities**
  • Focus on enabling schools and staff to thrive at individual and systemic level

Working Arrangements

  • Daily rate: £575 for direct work support (valid from September 2026).
  • Full autonomy in co-constructed support methods while complying with HCPC/BPS guidelines.
