HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist – Experts at Hand Service

Location: Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) schools (flexible contract)

Liquid Personnel is seeking an HCPC-registered Educational Psychologist to join our Experts at Hand service, delivering specialist support across a network of innovative schools. This academic-year contract offers the chance to make a meaningful difference while working within a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.


About the Role

You’ll work with **Special Educational Needs Coordinators (SENCOs), teachers, and/src> staff <to provide tailored psychological expertise, fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments. The role is ideal for those seeking flexibility and direct school-level impact with a ** Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) **.


Responsibilities

  • Consultation & Collaboration:

    • Work closely with SENCOs and school staff to design and implement personalised interventions.
  • Early Intervention:

    • Develop and deliver strategies to support children’s learning, behaviour, and emotional well-being before needs escalate.

  • Staff Training & Development:

    • Lead training sessions for teachers and support staff on educational psychology principles, SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health), and behaviour strategies.
  • Group Support:

    • Provide specialised group interventions for:
      • SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs.
      • Learning difficulties.
      • Behavioural challenges.

** ess Requirements & Qualifications

To apply, you must meet the following criteria:

  • HCPC registration.

  • Two years post-qualified experience, either:

    • Working within a Local Authority (LA)
    • With a private Educational Psychologist (EP) practice in schools.
  • Enhanced DBS Check.

  • Two professional references.

  • Optional but valuable:

    • A background or specialism in SEMH or EBSA (Emotional & Behavioural Support Assistant) domains.
