Educational Teaching Assistant SEND - working in early years

Required from September 2026

The children, staff and Governors wish to recruit an enthusiastic, highly motivated and capable Teaching Assistant (SEND) to play a key role working in our early years provision.

Experience of working with children/young people in a school environment is essential for this job, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with pupils, parents and staff members.

The successful candidate / candidates will work the following hours:

Monday to Friday 8:30am to 1pm

The Successful Applicant Will

  • Be flexible and caring.
  • Be patient and calm.
  • Be committed to contributing as part of a successful team.
  • Be passionate about enabling every child to fulfil their potential.
  • Have some experience in supporting children with additional needs.
  • Have some experience in supporting children with behavioural and social and emotional needs.
  • Have some experience working in a school, ideally in Early Years.
