Sales Representative – Full Training Provided

Sales is one of the few careers where your progress is directly linked to the skills you build and the results you produce. At Sage, you will learn how to communicate clearly, handle objections, negotiate effectively and stay composed under pressure. Working face-to-face with customers from all backgrounds will make you more resilient, adaptable and confident, and these are skills that support a long-term career in sales, management, recruitment, business development or any other people-focused profession.

You do not need previous sales or telecommunications experience. This is not a commission-only role. You will receive guaranteed weekly pay of £400 net, with average weekly earnings of £600 to £800 and top performers earning £1,200 or more per week. Structured, hands-on training is provided from your first day, with regular one-to-one coaching and direct support from experienced team members.

About Sage

Sage is a Birmingham-based sales and marketing company specialising in face-to-face customer acquisition, brand representation and campaign delivery for major national organisations.

Following the continued success of our campaigns, we have secured a new contract representing BT and EE, one of the UK's leading telecommunications providers. Our residential campaign introduces customers to BT Full Fibre broadband, television services and EE mobile contracts, helping households access faster connections and better-suited packages.

Across our campaigns, our teams generate approximately 100 to 300 new customers each week. We achieve this by maintaining high standards, representing our clients professionally and investing heavily in the development of our people. We are now building a high-performing sales team in Birmingham to support the continued growth of the BT and EE campaign.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Training and development

We do not expect you to arrive as an experienced salesperson. Our job is to teach you the systems, habits and practical skills required to perform successfully. Your development will include one-to-one coaching and mentoring, practical communication and negotiation training, customer psychology, objection handling, territory planning and target setting, all delivered alongside experienced consultants and top performers.

You will also receive access to our internal development app, containing hours of recorded training, plus our Cycle of Development booklet, a structured guide to communication, sales performance and professional progression.

Your working day

The role operates Monday to Friday, normally between 10:00am and 6:00pm. Mornings are based in the Birmingham office and focus on training, coaching, campaign updates and personal development. In the afternoon, you will work within an allocated residential territory, speaking directly with potential customers and representing BT and EE.

During your first two to four weeks, you will follow the full training schedule to learn the campaign, products and sales process properly. Once training is complete, greater flexibility may be available based on performance. The weekly minimum expectation is 12 completed sales, and representatives who consistently achieve their target will have more control over how they organise their working week. Saturdays are optional.
