EHCP Administrator – Additional Learning Support Team

Reference: REQ001474


**Role Information_

Location: Stroud Campus FTE Salary: £25,287.00 (Actual salary: £22,506.75) Contract Type: Permanent (Term-Time Only) Working Hours: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year

Term-Time Only Contracts: Salary adjustment if the start date is after 1st September.

The Role: EHCP Administrator

Team: Additional Learning Support Focus: High-quality administrative support for Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCP) processes.


Key Responsibilities

  • EHCP Coordination:

    • Manage annual reviews and handle documentation associated with EHCP processes.
    • Ensure regular updates to learner records and adherence to GDPR compliance.
  • Digital & Data Management:

    • Maintain, update, and verify learner data systems (MIS, spreadsheets, Promonitor).
    • Compare EHCP amendment notices, upload personalised targets, and track deadlines.
  • Review Workflows:

    • Schedule review meetings, send reminders, and monitor responses from stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Liaise with parents/carers, Local Authorities, schools, and internal teams to collate/share learner information.

  • Administrative Efficiency:
    • Oversee central enquiries, email triage, and document filing.
    • Prioritise tasks under pressure while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

Essential:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in English & Maths.
  • Strong education, SEND (Special Educational Needs & Disabilities), or FE experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and MIS/digital systems.
  • Excellent organisation, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Clear written & verbal communication (traceable multi-stakeholder interactions).

Preferred:

  • Demonstrable experience with center administration or SEND legislation processes.
