Location: Bedford College – Cauldwell Street Campus
Salary/Benefits:
- Salary between £30,915 and £41,085 per annum DOE and Qualifications

About The Role
We are seeking six EHCP Keyworkers to join the Foundation Learning and Additional Learning Support department at The Bedford College Group.
As an EHCP Keyworker, your role is vital to student success through:

EHCP Provision & Compliance Leadership
- Oversee high-quality EHCP support
- Ensure Section F provision is delivered, monitored, and fully compliant
- Focus on learner progress and independence

Annual Reviews & Statutory Processes
- Lead and coordinate person-centred EHCP annual reviews
- Produce high-quality reports
- Ensure compliance with statutory timelines and Local Authority requirements

Progress Monitoring & Data-Driven Intervention
- Track and analyse learner progress against EHCP outcomes
- Use robust systems to identify risks
- Implement timely, effective intervention strategies

Preparing for Adulthood & Mentoring Support
- Design and deliver Preparing for Adulthood (PfA) programmes
- Provide targeted mentoring for independence, wellbeing, and progression into employment or further study

- Quality Assurance, Training & Partnerships
- Contribute to QA through observations and audits
- Provide staff training on inclusive practice
- Build strong stakeholder relationships
- Uphold safeguarding, EDI, and compliance standards
About You
Qualifications & SEND Knowledge
- Level 3 qualification with GCSE English and Maths
- Relevant degree or vocational background
- Strong knowledge of:
- SEND Code of Practice
- EHCP processes
Experience
- Proven experience supporting:
- Young people with SEND and EHCPs
- Leading EHCP reviews
- Collaborating with parents, carers, and professionals
Skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and digital communication
- Ability to produce high-quality reports
- Maintain professional boundaries
- Highly organised with strong time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively for positive learner outcomes
