Location: Northampton, NN1 1PZ
Job Length: 6 months (Fixed-Term Contract), ending 31st December 2026
Working Hours: 35 hours per week (Mon–Fri)

About the Role
A 6-month fixed-term opportunity for someone looking to build a career in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS).
You’ll play a critical role supporting EHS programmes, audits, and compliance. Ideal for an administrative professional with experience (or enthusiasm) for compliance management, EHS, or auditing—ideal to develop expertise and grow within this field.

Reporting to: EHS Production Senior Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and coordination support to the central EHS function, ensuring effective delivery of EHS programmes.
- Maintain audit action trackers for internal and ISO audits, tracking progress and driving timely closure of actions.
- Manage EHS document control processes, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and up-to-date records/standards.
- Support legal/regulatory compliance, coordinating audits, documentation, and follow-up actions.
- Administer EHS systems and reporting tools, guaranteeing data integrity across all sites.
- Assist in scheduling and logistical coordination of EHS meetings/events, including agendas and communication.
- Contribute to EHS integration and improvement projects, embedding consistent standards.
- Foster collaboration between EHS, operational teams, and support functions.
- Prepare end-of-month reporting, compliance tracking, and programme governance support.
Experience & Key Attributes
Key cornerstone skills:
- Proven organisational/administrative abilities, balancing multiple priorities.
- Experience with data-driven systems (reports, governance, compliance).
- High IT literacy (proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, and business reporting tools).
- Exceptional attention to detail in documentation, reporting, and process management.
- Strong stakeholder communication across teams/sites.
- Prior experience in administration, governance, or (preferably) EHS/audit environments—desirable.
- Collaborative/mindset for continuous improvement, ensuring high standards.

Preferred qualifications/knowledge:
- IOSH/NEBOSH credentials, or understanding of EHS systems/compliance.
