EHS Administrator
Location: Northampton, NN1 1PZ
Job Length: 6-month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC), ending 31 December 2026
Working Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

About the Role
Do you want to build a career in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)? This EHS Administrator role is perfect for someone with administrative, compliance, or EHS experience looking to develop in a specialist field.
Reporting to the EHS Production Senior Manager, the successful candidate will support key EHS programmes, audits, and compliance initiatives, contributing to high standards across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and coordination support to the central EHS function, ensuring the smooth delivery of EHS activities.
- Maintain audit action trackers for internal and ISO audits, monitoring progress and ensuring timely closure.
- Manage EHS document control, ensuring all records, policies, and procedures are accurate, compliant, and up to date.
- Support legal and regulatory compliance activities via coordination of audits, documentation, and follow-up actions.
- Administer EHS systems and reporting tools, maintaining data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across sites.
- Coordinate EHS meetings, events, and communications, including scheduling agendas and logistical support.
- Assist in EHS integration and improvement projects, embedding consistent standards and governance.
- Act as a bridge between EHS, operational teams, and support functions, fostering effective communication.
- Produce and support end-of-month reporting, compliance tracking, and programme governance.
Experience & Key Attributes
Essential:
- Strong administrative, organisational, and coordination skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Experience working with data, reporting systems, governance, or compliance activities.
- High IT literacy, including proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, and business reporting systems.
- Excellent attention to detail for documentation, reporting, and system management.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (multidisciplinary, cross-site collaboration).
- Preferable experience in administrative, governance, or coordination roles—EHS, compliance, or audit exposure is advantageous.
