Department Overview
CRFS, a Motorola Solutions company, is a global pioneer in advanced radio frequency (RF) technology, specializing in cutting-edge spectrum monitoring, geolocation, and electronic warfare solutions. Headquartered in Cambridge, UK, we design and build high-performance hardware and software—such as our industry-leading RF eye ecosystem—that empowers military forces, national security agencies, and spectrum regulators to detect, analyze, and exploit RF signals in the world's most complex environments. When you join our team, you’re directly contributing to the technologies that ensure spectrum dominance, protect critical infrastructure, and safeguard global communications.
As part of our continued growth, we are expanding our operational footprint with the addition of a new 24,000 sq ft facility. This is an exciting opportunity to join at a pivotal stage in our development and play a leading role in shaping the infrastructure, systems and standards that will support the next phase of business growth.
We are seeking an experienced EHS, Security and Facilities Manager to provide leadership across our facilities, maintenance, environmental health & safety, security compliance and site infrastructure activities.
This is a highly visible role with significant influence across the organisation. You will help create the environment, systems and support structures that enable our teams to perform at their best, while leading key projects that underpin the future success of the business.
Job Description
The Role
The Facilities, EHS & Infrastructure Manager will provide leadership and coordination across Facilities, EHS, Security and Infrastructure activities, ensuring CRFS has the environment, systems and support structures required to support a growing technology and manufacturing business.
Reporting to the Operations Director, you will work through a combination of leadership, project management and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the business remains safe, secure, compliant and equipped for future growth.
A key priority during the first phase of the role will be leading the preparation and operational integration of CRFS' new 24,000 sq ft facility, establishing the infrastructure, processes and governance required to support continued expansion.
The role is accountable for developing strategy, driving improvements and ensuring successful delivery of key initiatives. While specialist team members will continue to own and lead a number of operational and compliance activities, this role will also take direct ownership of significant projects and programmes, particularly those relating to site expansion, facilities development, security and infrastructure. Success in the role will require a balance of leadership, coordination and hands-on delivery, with the ability to move comfortably between strategic planning and practical execution.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
