EHS Specialist Offshore Service
Health and Safety Specialist – Offshore Wind Farm (Buckie, UK)

Join Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy as a Health and Safety Specialist and drive Health and Safety excellence on-site for offshore wind operations in Buckie, UK.
This role supports our offshore wind farm service operations to ensure the workforce operates in a safe, sustainable, and compliant environment.
The Role
You will:
- Advise and support operational teams in implementing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards
- Collect, report, and investigate near misses, accidents, incidents, and deviations
- Lead incident workflows — tracking investigations, allocating corrective actions, and managing to closure
- Assist in the enforcement of company policies and adherence to legal requirements
Core Responsibilities:
Culture & Strategy
- Engage and promote the "Zero Harm" EHS culture
- Collaborate with broader team objectives to develop and sustain the EHS leadership vision
- Ensure full implementation of company’s health, safety & environmental management systems
Hazard & Risk Management
- Proactively identify hazards and facilitate controls
- Partner with operations to provide legislative and regulatory guidance
Incident Management
- Record, report, and investigate all accidents, incidents, and near misses as required
- Track and deliver corrective actions in line with company procedures

Compliance & Reporting
- Compile and analyze HSE statistics & KPIs, sharing insights to drive safety improvements locally and across departments
- Maintain record keeping, including risk assessments, training logs, examinations, etc.
Training & Engagement
- Create, develop, and assist with delivery of EHS inductions and training
- Promote knowledge sharing across the region
Additionally, support the wider business in achieving EHS-related objectives.
What You Bring
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- NEBOSH equivalent (Level 5/6) EHS qualification OR the ability to commit to attaining one
- Operational/engineering EHS experience (preferably within power/energy service or a high-regulation industry)

- Regulatory awareness — comfortable navigating and reporting to legal compliance bodies
- Ability to control crises with calm efficiency
Personality & Attitude
- Team player — excels in a collaborative, performance-driven culture
- Stakeholder management expertise — balancing expectations internally and externally
- Computer literate with proficiency in standard software
- Full UK/EU driving license and willingness to travel intermittently
