Are you an experienced maintenance technician looking for a new challenge? How about playing a part in providing safe, reliable drinking water in your community?
We currently have an opportunity available for an EICA Technician (Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation) to join our team working in Bournemouth. Joining us on a full-time, permanent basis you will receive a competitive salary of between £27,556 – £44,000 per annum (offered salary dependent on experience and ranging from trainee to fully qualified) plus excellent benefits and a company van provided.
About The Role
In this role, you'll join our team of EICA Technicians carrying out planned and preventative maintenance works on all water treatment equipment.
On occasions, in your role, you will be required to wear breathing apparatus, work in confined spaces, work at heights and work outside and within noisy environments. All relevant training to keep you safe and perform in your role will be provided.

Upon completion of probationary period, the EICA Technician position will join the standby and callout rota, giving you the opportunity to increase your earnings. Due to standby response times, you would ideally be located within 45 minutes of the operational area.
What You’ll Be Doing
Carrying out repair and maintenance for water treatment process control and electrical systems and diagnosing faults on all aspects of asset control and automation. Make improvements to equipment and systems to enhance the quality and efficiency. Assist operational staff with the resolution of complex problems and update site documentation as necessary. Form part of a wider cross skill team to provide full support to the business to deliver wholesome water to our customers. You will be required to build business connections inside and outside the organisation to create ideas and deliver improvements to both systems and processes. Attend training sessions as required.
What We Are Looking For
Relevant electrical qualifications. Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Control) systems. Knowledge of SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition) systems. Knowledge of telemetry outstation & radio systems. Knowledge of instrumentation calibration. Previous experience in a process control environment. Willingness to learn new processes and technologies. Full UK driving licence.
