Location: Chesham, High Wycombe + travel across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire & surrounding counties.
Salary: £44,819 + Excellent Benefits

About the Role/team
We’re excited to offer newly created permanent opportunities for Electrical Technicians (Compliance Testing) to join our EICR/Compliance Testing team. This mobile role covers our property portfolio across Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Oxfordshire, Berkshire and surrounding counties. As part of the role, you'll be provided with a van and a fuel card for business usage.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring 100% electrical compliance across our homes. From EICRs and emergency lighting tests to repairs and partial rewires, you’ll help us maintain safe, high-quality living environments for our residents, all while delivering a first-time fix approach and excellent customer care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs)
- Complete installations, servicing, repairs, and partial rewires in domestic properties
- Perform annual emergency lighting tests and other compliance duties
- Deliver a first-time fix service with minimal disruption to residents
- Maintain accurate documentation and job records
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and internal procedures
- Represent SettleParadigm professionally in residents’ homes
What We’re Looking For
Must haves:
- Extensive experience in domestic installations, inspections, fault finding, servicing, and repairs
- Strong understanding of construction, building regulations, and health & safety
- Excellent communication skills for resident and colleague interactions
- Full valid UK manual driving licence
Essential certifications:
- City & Guilds 2365 Level 2 and 3 (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition
- NVQ Level 3
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in inspection and testing
- City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) in inspection and testing
For added brilliance:
- Confidence in working independently across a mobile patch
- Passion for maintaining safe, compliant homes for residents
- Experience within Social Housing / Local Authority properties.
