Social Infrastructure - Our team of Social Infrastructure specialists revitalise homes and communities by carrying out a wide range of work, from retrofit to refurbishment, and maintenance.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented EICR Qualified Supervisor to oversee the quality, accuracy, and compliance of Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) and associated remedial works. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership to our electrical testing teams, ensuring all inspections, reports, and planned works comply with current industry standards, legislation, and company procedures.
This is a key quality assurance role responsible for maintaining technical standards, supporting engineers, and ensuring clients receive accurate and compliant reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Review & Compliance
- Review and quality assure completed Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs).
- Verify coding (C1, C2, C3 and FI observations) is accurate and consistent with BS 7671 requirements.
- Ensure inspection reports are technically accurate, complete, and compliant before submission to clients.
- Identify inconsistencies or technical errors and provide feedback to engineers.
- Monitor report quality and identify recurring issues or trends.

Planned & Remedial Works
- Review recommended remedial works arising from EICRs.
- Produce and verify scopes of work for planned remedial projects.
- Ensure proposed works are proportionate, compliant, and commercially appropriate.
- Assist in developing quotations and work specifications where required.
- Review completed remedial works and associated certification.

Supervision & Technical Support
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to electrical inspectors and installation engineers.
- Carry out technical audits and site inspections.
- Support engineer development through coaching and toolbox talks.
- Assist with technical queries from clients and operational teams.

Operational Support
- Work closely with Operations, Scheduling and Commercial teams.
- Assist in planning remedial programmes.
- Review engineer productivity and technical performance.
- Help develop standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
- Support mobilisation of new contracts.
Essential Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- City & Guilds 2365 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671)
- ECS Gold Card
- Full UK Driving Licence
