EL / PL Litigation Executive

EL/PL Litigation Executive - Manchester

National 500 Legal 500 firm based in Manchester, known for Personal Injury (PI) litigation and exceptional client care, offers a crucial opportunity to join.

About the Role

The firm requires an experienced EL/PL Litigation Executive or Fee Earner to support its ongoing expansion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload of EL/PL claims (both pre-litigation and post-litigation)
  • Progress files from initial instruction to conclusion
  • Draft witness statements and key legal documentation
  • Review expert evidence and medical reports
  • Instruct medical experts and counsel
  • Attend conferences, hearings, and trials as required
  • Assess quantum and negotiate settlement offers
  • Provide excellent client care throughout the claims process

Requirements / About You

  • Experience in managing EL/PL caseloads
  • Strong knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
  • (Preferred but not essential) Litigation experience
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and manage deadlines
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Exceptional communication and client-care abilities
  • Willingness to work independently and as part of a supportive team
