EL/PL Solicitor - Manchester
Salary: Up to £55,000 + Benefits + Bonus
About the Role
Join a nationally recognised Legal 500 firm in Manchester, renowned for its Personal Injury (PI) litigation and commitment to exceptional client care.
With continued growth, the firm is seeking an Experienced/Loss Adjuster (EL/PL) Solicitor or Legal Executive to strengthen its expanding team. You’ll manage your own caseload of pre- and post-litigation EL/PL matters in a supportive, growth-focused environment with opportunities for long-term career advancement.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of EL/PL claims (pre- and post-litigation)
- Progress files from initial instruction to conclusion
- Draft witness statements and key legal documentation
- Review expert evidence and medical reports
- Instruct medical experts and counsel
- Attend conferences, hearings, and trials as required
- Assess quantum and make settlement offers
- Provide exceptional client care throughout the claims process
- Develop litigation expertise within a highly regarded claimant PI team

About You
The ideal candidate should have:
- Experience managing a caseload of EL/PL claims
- Good understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules (essential)
- Litigation experience preferred but not mandatory (earned via training)
- Strong ability to manage deadlines and prioritise workloads
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Outstanding communication and client care abilities
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
