Elastic Consultant (ES|QL)

We're supporting one of the UK's leading specialist technology consultancies as they continue to grow one of the UK's most established Elastic consulting practices.
This is an opportunity to join a highly respected consulting team delivering Search, Security and Observability solutions across complex Government and enterprise environments.
Unlike traditional engineering or support positions, this role is genuinely consulting focused. You'll work directly with customers, helping shape technical strategy, design solutions, lead migrations and deliver enterprise-scale Elasticsearch implementations from discovery through to production.

About your role
You'll work across a variety of secure customer programmes supporting Search and Elasticsearch migration initiatives, including:
- Designing and implementing Elasticsearch solutions
- Supporting enterprise migration projects
- Developing and optimising ES|QL queries
- Working with structured and unstructured data
- Delivering customer workshops and technical consultancy
- Solution architecture and technical design
- Performance tuning and optimisation
- Supporting projects throughout the full delivery lifecycle
You'll have the opportunity to work alongside highly experienced consultants who deliver projects across Search, Security and Observability using the latest Elastic technologies.
What We're Looking For
We're interested in people who have experience with some or most of the following:
- Elasticsearch
- Elasticsearch Query Language (ES|QL)
- Elastic Stack (ELK)
- Kibana
- Logstash
- Beats
- Search technologies
- Data migration projects
- Customer-facing consulting experience
- Solution design
- Strong stakeholder communication

What is essential?
- Active SC Clearance (or higher)
- Previous commercial experience with Elastic
- Strong communication and consulting skills
