Role Description
The Electrical and Instrumentation Supervisor is a full-time role based in Maidstone. The role involves supervising electrical and instrumentation technicians, planning and allocating daily tasks, and ensuring safe and compliant work practices on site within the Water Utilities Sector. - Site Supervision
- Electrical Installations and Inspection and Testing
- Coordinating and supporting fault-finding and troubleshooting
- Reviewing technical documentation
- Liaising with clients and Project Managers
- Ensuring that work is delivered on time and to high-quality standards across all SRE Projects
- Maintaining accurate records
- Promoting continuous improvement
- Supporting training and development of team members

Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- Strong Supervisory Skills including CITB SSSTS/SMSTS, including team leadership, task allocation, and performance monitoring.
- Good Water Utilities Experience working within Clean and Wastewater Projects providing Electrical Engineering.
- An ECS Gold Card with 18th Edition and Inspection and Testing would be preferable but not a necessity.
- Solid technical abilities in Instrumentation and Electricity, with experience in industrial or utilities environments.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and contractors.
- Relevant technical qualifications or apprenticeships in electrical engineering, instrumentation, or a related discipline.
- A sound understanding of health and safety regulations and safe systems of work.
- Experience in project coordination, documentation, and use of maintenance management systems would be beneficial.
