Electrical Apprenticeship
Fixed term electrical apprenticeship 48 months.

Full Time – 40 hours per week
College attendance: Gloucestershire College (day release from October 2026)
Closing Date: 12th July 2026
Assessment and interviews: weeks commencing 27th July & 3rd August 2026

Gloucester City Homes (GCH) is looking for an Apprentice Electrician to join our PropertyCare Electrical team.
Working alongside experienced electricians, you’ll gain practical experience carrying out electrical maintenance, repairs and installations across our housing portfolio while completing a recognised apprenticeship qualification.
This is a fantastic opportunity to develop the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to become a qualified electrician.
What you’ll be doing
Supporting qualified electricians with maintenance, repairs and installations Learning electrical testing, fault-finding and safe working practices Working in customers’ homes and empty properties across Gloucester Using tools, materials and equipment safely and responsibly Developing excellent customer service and communication skills Completing apprenticeship training and college-based learning

Essential Qualifications
GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade 9–3 (A*–D) or equivalent Alternatively, Level 1 or Level 2 Functional Skills in English, Maths and Science or Technical Subject.
