About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Electrical Assembly Technician at our client’s facility in Tamworth. If you have a strong background in wiring and assembly—including control panels, mechanical fitting, and component assembly—this is an opportunity to join a dynamic team in a skilled trades role.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly, manufacture, and testing of parts, sub-assemblies, and complete machines until they are ready for final inspection.
- Control panel assembly and wiring, including pneumatic installations.
- Mechanical fitting and assembly of components, sub-assemblies, and finished machines.
- Manufacturing and finishing plastic parts and packaging completed machinery.
- Wiring of chambers and following provided instructions for testing.
- Self-inspection of finished items using defined quality methodologies.
- Continuous improvement of assembly processes to reduce costs and minimise waste.
- Ensuring high-quality work to minimise errors, adhering strictly to work instructions.
- Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and high standards of housekeeping in the workspace.
- Training and supporting fellow team members as required.
- Handling picking, packing, and spares orders for production needs.
- Assisting with other production-related tasks as necessary.

Requirements
- Proven competence in electro-mechanical assembly, control panel wiring, and mechanical fitting.
- Experience in following best-practice standards for electrical and pneumatic installations (additional training available).
- Strong working knowledge of manual handling and ideally holding a forklift licence (not essential).
- Commitment to maintaining precision and high standards in production.
