Electrical Assembly Operative

Location: St. Helens, England, North West

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £24,804.00 - £26,793.00 per annum

Role:

  • Assembling electrical components, wiring, and sub-assemblies
  • Reading and following engineering drawings and work instructions
  • Using hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment safely
  • Carrying out basic testing and inspections on completed products
  • Identifying and reporting faults or defects
  • Completing production paperwork and records accurately
  • Following all company Health & Safety procedures
  • Working closely with the wider production team to meet targets
  • Keeping the work area clean and organised
  • Supporting with additional duties where required

Requirements:

  • Previous electrical assembly or manufacturing experience would be beneficial
  • Basic understanding of electrical systems and components
  • Ability to read technical drawings or wiring diagrams would be advantageous
  • Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop

Details:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7am to 3:30pm / Friday: 7am to 12:30pm
  • Permanent job
  • Salary dependent on experience
