Electrical Construction Project Manager – Data Centre Projects
Location: London
Salary: Competitive + Benefits
An expanding engineering contractor delivering hyperscale and mission-critical facilities is looking for an Electrical Construction Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of electrical packages across major data centre developments. This role will take ownership of programme, commercial performance, client management, and project delivery from pre-construction through handover.

- Deliver electrical packages from design through commissioning.
- Manage project budgets, programme, and commercial performance.
- Coordinate design teams, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Lead client meetings and project reporting.
- Manage procurement and subcontractor appointments.
- Monitor project risks and change control.
- Oversee installation of critical electrical infrastructure.
- Support testing, energisation, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure contractual compliance.
- Drive successful project handover.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing electrical projects within mission-critical environments.
- Strong understanding of:
- HV/LV Infrastructure
- UPS Systems
- Generators
- Switchgear
- Power Distribution
- Protection Systems
- Containment
- Structured Cabling
- Experience managing projects valued from £10m+.
- Excellent commercial awareness.
- Strong client-facing experience.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary project teams.

Desirable
- Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- PMP, APM, or PRINCE2.
- NEC and JCT contract knowledge.
- SMSTS.
- Previous hyperscale data centre experience.
