Electrical, Control & Instrument Technician - Energy Recovery Facility, Bedfordshire

EC&I Technician – Rookery South Energy Recovery Facility (ERF)

Overview

Shape the Future of Sustainable Energy-from-Waste!

At Encyclis, it’s our people and their passion that drive us forward. We’re growing fast, thinking differently, and innovating to optimise safety, efficiency, and sustainability in residual waste recovery.

Our cutting-edge facilities divert waste from landfill, support baseload electricity production, and contribute to the circular economy. We’re proud to introduce this role—where teamwork, high standards, and a commitment to continuous improvement shape a culture of excellence.

Location: Encyclis Rookery South ERF, Stewartby, Bedfordshire (20 minutes from Milton Keynes, off the M1 Motorway). A three-line facility operational since January 2022, it processes 585,000 tonnes of waste annually, powering around 112,000 homes sustainably.

Note: Applications are encouraged ASAP—vacancies may close early due to high volume.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
