The Opportunity
Our client is an award-winning Building Services consultancy delivering innovative MEP design solutions across some of the UK's most exciting construction projects. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to play a key role in both project delivery and the future growth of the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Electrical Design Engineer looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will have a clear pathway to Associate or Director level within the next three years, taking on greater responsibility across leadership, client development, and team management.

The Role
Working as part of an experienced Building Services team, you'll lead the electrical design of a diverse portfolio of projects from concept through to completion.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the electrical design on a variety of commercial and industrial projects.
- Producing detailed electrical building services designs and technical specifications.
- Designing LV power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, fire alarm, security, and small power systems.
- Undertaking electrical calculations, cable sizing, and equipment selection.
- Coordinating designs with Mechanical Engineers, Architects, and external design teams.
- Attending client, design, and site meetings throughout project delivery.
- Mentoring and supporting Graduate and Intermediate Engineers.
- Developing and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Assisting with business development, fee proposals, and project planning.
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the Electrical Design team.
