Electrical Design Engineer
The Redline group have an exciting new opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer, based in Loughborough, to join their team. In this role you will be responsible for leading the design and documentation of electrical wiring harnesses and other electrical work packages, using SolidWorks Electrical to create electrical schematics, 3D models and manufacturing documents for wiring harnesses and cable assemblies.
Main Responsibilities
- Generating electrical drawings and panel layouts with supporting electrical documentation (Bill of Materials, Component Lists, Cable Schedules, Terminal Rail Layouts etc)
- Ensure all electrical drawings are updated promptly throughout the lifecycle of the project and shared with all relevant departments
- Maintain a database of preferred electrical devices to ensure consistency in functional hardware from project to project

Key Skills Required
- Electrical Engineering Qualification
- In-depth knowledge of Solidworks Electrical or similar CAD package
- Experience with schematic capture and harness design
- Ideal for a graduate with electrical design experience.
