Electrical Design Engineer

Extra projects have generated extra vacancies at this company, and with that comes the need for an Electrical Design Engineer to work on a variety of industrial automation and electrical control systems schemes.

Core Responsibilities

  • Designing electrical control panels
  • Creating MCC (Motor Control Centre) and PLC control panel designs
  • Producing electrical schematics and circuit diagrams
  • Designing safety circuits and loop diagrams
  • Using design software like:
    • EPLAN
    • AutoCAD Electrical
  • Collaborating with PLC programmers and the other members of the Design, Project and Engineering team.

Key Skills & Experience Needed

  • Strong background in electrical design
  • Experience with industrial control panels
  • Knowledge of:
    • Circuit design
    • Safety systems
    • Control engineering principles
  • Proficiency in electrical CAD tools (EPLAN / AutoCAD Electrical)
  • Permanent right to work in the UK

What the Company Offers
