We’re thrilled to partner with a distinguished and forward-thinking engineering consultancy to recruit for Principal Electrical Engineers to join their established team in Bristol or Cardiff, working in a hybrid role.

As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will take a leadership role in the technical delivery of high-quality building services projects across diverse sectors.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and delivering electrical designs across a wide range of project types and scales
  • Working as part of a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless project coordination
  • Maintaining a consistently high standard of service for clients, aiding in securing repeat and new business opportunities
  • At the senior Principal level, you may also:
    • Lead technical delivery
    • Contribute to business development
    • Mentor and guide junior team members
    • Drive team and business growth

About You

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience in electrical design engineering within the built environment
  • A relevant degree (Electrical or Buildings Services Engineering, or equivalent)
  • Strong expertise in:
    • BIM (Building Information Modelling)
    • Revit, Dialux, Relux (and other industry design tools)
  • A client-focused, collaborative mindset with strong communication skills
  • A passion for mentoring and developing junior team members
  • An open-minded, innovative approach to tackling and resolving design challenges
